LAST MINUTE ENTRY LIKE YEAAAAAAH. I put way too much work into this olol, but I'm glad I'm not late.
GLORIOUS WALL OF TEXT AHOY
~TRAINER INFO~
-History-
Kay is the youngest child of the Moody family, a well known and large family from Eterna City. Her parents own a handy little convenience store for trainers thats located in only a handful of places in the Sinnoh region. The next youngest child out of the five kids in the family was already eleven and on their journey when Kay was born, so she lived a pretty solitary childhood. With most of her family away or too busy to look after her, Kay, along with the family's Pokemon, Darla the Darmanitan, spent a lot of her time exploring nearby routes and Eterna forest, which gave her a sense of independency and adventure. Until she was around 8, Kay refused to go anywhere without her a stuffed Lopunny, something her peers would always pick on her for. Later after she started her journey, Kay decided to branch out and work as a trainer at some Pokemon Gyms, including the local one in Eterna and even Oreburgh Gym. Sadly, her impatience and inability to stay in one place for long kept her from staying for a long period of time, so she moved on. Right when she heard about the BFOI, the adventure element of the challenge caught her eye. She packed her bags, ready for an awesome experience.
-Personality-
Kay is the kind of girl who would rather have you approach her than the other way around. It can be a bit hard to get to know her, since she acts so shy around strangers. But once you befriend her, there's no letting go. At first, she may come off as a snotty young woman (which can be true at times, though), but underneath it all, she's a witty girl who can be so loyal to her friends that it can be a bit bothersome. Whenever she sees an interesting looking trainer, she'll get to a place where they can't see her, take out the pink sketchbook in her bag, and draw the trainer and their Pokemon. By exploring alone for a lot of her childhood, she developed a fairly decent sense of direction and independency, yet a tad of awkwardness when talking to others. Unfortunately, she's a bit of a worrier, and gets stressed out and nervous easily, causing some weird "moods" like her last name suggests. Her perfectionist additude doesn't really help, and at times, she can turn into a little of, you know, a bitch. But despite her occasional selfishness and rather short temper, Kay's a quick minded girl who needs something exciting every second of her life. She can't sit still, and the Ohana Islands are perfect.
Likes: Sweet food,movies, long walks on the beach, nice clothes, woodcraft, sketching, stuffed animals, battling, and of course, Pokemon
Dislikes: Spicy food, swimming, being dirty, etc!
POKEMON
Clover the Togekiss: When Kay turned ten, she was given two Pokemon eggs to start her journey instead of travelling to Professor Rowan's lab in Sandgem town. One of these eggs contained a Togepi, which she named Clover. Kay quickly began to love Clover, and soon enough, he was given a Shiny Stone and evolved from a Togetic to a graceful white Togekiss. Even today, Clover remains one of Kay's strongest Pokemon. Clover is like the dad of the team, keeping the rest of the members serene with his naturally calm additude. Kay flies from place to place on Clover's back, enjoying the beautiful birds eye view.
Kiku the Shiny Espeon: One of the eggs Kay recieved on her tenth birthday contained Clover, but the other hatched a silver shiny eevee. Kay named this eevee Kiku, and he quickly became her trusty lime green Espeon. Kiku is for sure one of the hardest hitters on Kay's team, especially with the help of Calm Mind.
FUN FACT: Kiku, along with Clover, are both based after Pokemon I've owned in my real games. Shinyness, movesets, and all.
Sonny the Minun: NOW LET ME TELL YOU A STORY ABOUT A BOY NAMED SONNY. Yup, a boy, I didn't type that wrong. Sonny was a boy Kay's age that lived in Celestic Town, which is only seperated from Eterna by Mt. Coronet. A few days each week, Kay and Sonny would meet in the caves of the mountain, where they would just hang out like most kids would. His only Pokemon were a Plusle and Minun. One day, a crisis struck Sonny's family, and they had to move somewhere far away. Kay never found out where he moved to, but when he left the next day, he did leave her with something extremely important- he had released his Minun for her, which Kay named after him. Sonny the Minun is quite a quirky one. Without Plusle, he's known to get distracted easily and cause some mischief. But despite his small and frail stature, the power his electric attacks can come with may shock you! ........oh god that was totally unintentional. thats like the worst pun ever dfdfsgsdg;fdds
Julian the Quagsire: One day, Kay found a Quagsire up for grabs on the GTS because he was supposedly "too dumb" and "hard to train." In exchange for just a Gastrodon, Kay made the trade and took the Pokemon under her own care. Kay still is convinced she got the better side of the deal. Sure, the Quagsire, which had already been nicknamed Julian, has a over relaxed and occasionally clueless personality which can make him a bit of a challenge to train sometimes. But with proper motivation, he can be just as active as any other Pokemon. When he's not battling, Julian enjoys to sleep.
Lisa the Cherrim: Some would consider catching Lisa to be crime. One steamy summer day, Kay decided to shake a honey tree out of boredom! The thing is, Kay wasn't the one who spread the honey on the bark, so it wasn't her tree. Anyways, out popped a Cherubi, which joined Kay's team shortly after. After some thinking, she named the Cherubi, who would soon become a sweet Cherrim, Lisa. Lisa provides great support for her team with the move Sunny Day, powering up fire type moves, and revealing her true flowery form.
Darla the Darmanitan: Despite her wild looks, Darla the Darmanitan is very gentle and quite the sweetie. When Kay was around 9, one of her older siblings brought an already evolved Darmanitan home from their travels in the Unova region. The Pokemon, which Kay's mother named Darla, became the family companion. Growing up, Darla was alway's Kay's trusty sidekick. When she was home alone, Darla was there. When she was exploring the nearby routes and forests, Darla was there. It got to the point that they became so attached that when Kay actually started her Pokemon journey, Darla absolutely had to be on her team linup. Since then, nothing has changed, and the tough looking fire type remains on her roster, while packing quite a punch in battle.
